Wil Swindler

Composer and saxophonist, Wil Swindler currently resides near Denver, CO where he leads Wil Swindler's Elevenet, the modern bop quintet GoodRattle, and the Wil Swindler Quartet. He is an active performer in the state of Colorado and serves as the Director of Jazz Bands at Colorado State University. Wil was awarded the prestigious Gil Evans Fellowship in 2008 and has completed many commissions for Jazz ensembles and symphony orchestras around the world. He has released three albums as leader, Chamber Jazz Ensemble (NohJoh 2006), Universe B (OA2 2010), and The Right Riot (2015), and can be heard on numerous jazz albums including Al Hood's Muses (2019), Peter Sommer's Happy-Go-Lucky Locals (2018), and many more.
