Jacob Herold is a musician from the Front Range of Colorado. He has over two decades of performance experience, including appearances at the Telluride Jazz Celebration, Vail Jazz, and Denver’s Underground Music Series. Jacob has written and arranged pieces for groups ranging from trios to 10-piece ensembles and has received recognition for compositions by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and CU’s ATLAS Institute, where he held residency for multimedia production and performance. An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, the University of Colorado-Boulder, and the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, Jacob has reinvested his education into mentoring young musicians in Colorado through a private lesson studio and organizations such as the Colorado Springs Conservatory and Flatirons Academy.
