Badrya Razem is half Algerian and half Italian and she began studying classical piano at a very young age. She holds both undergraduate and postgraduate academic qualifications in Jazz Vocals and a postgraduate specialization in Opera Singing. She has collaborated with various orchestras in theatres, including the Filarmonica A. Toscanini, and has collaborated with musicians including: Nate James, Fabrizio Bosso, Mario Rosini, Simona Bencini, Neri Per Caso, Danilo Rea, Fabrizio Festa, Roberto Ottaviano, Enzo Filippetti, Ivano Battiston, Pierluigi Balducci, Fabrizio Savino, Fabio Accardi, Dario Congedo, Andrea Sabatino, Antonio Palazzo.
Since 2022, Badrya has been a Conservatory teacher in Jazz Singing. In 2024, she won the Absolute First Prize in the Jazz Singers category at the Lugano International Music Competition (Switzerland). In 2024, she sang for the Ascona Jazz Festival in Switzerland with Nate James and Joe Dallas and later, in Monte Carlo, she performed for the Prince. Badrya is constantly looking for new sounds, experimenting with her voice in all its nuances and exalting her Arabic roots.
